What’s new with United Professionals? You ask.
A lot!! In our quest to provide more and better services not only through our website but through events and coaching there is an amazing amount of new products and services coming your way. It’s our goal to arm our clients with not only the concepts but the fine details to keep you head and shoulders above your competition.
Just for starters...
 We are ramping up our adult specific marketing products for MMA, fitness and Jujitsu – these Marketing cards are just the beginning of things to come.
New Product – Rack Cards – these jumbo cards are real attention getters and you can get 4 ads on each card.  Of course we can add your logo and change the offers.
We are currently doing 10 different ads all in Spanish. Just like with any of our ad cards, mailers, post cards, door hangers, or banners we will be happy to make any design in any product size. For example if you like a specific ad card or free download ad we will resize it into a door hanger, flyer, banner or whatever you like. Last year we started Corner Man coaching in which we have two levels. Group coaching and one-on-one coaching. The program has grown tremendously and schools are seeing remarkable results with the "Dream Team" of coaches we have available. When we first started, we chose top clients to coach and teamed clients up with who we felt would have something in common as far as personality and goals. We then knew clients would be saying “Show Me The Money.” It’s only right to want a return on an investment. So we expanded to the East West MMA Affiliate program for schools wanting to add MMA as an upgrade or add-on program. We devised a turnkey system in which we provide curriculum videos, logos, coaching and a full product line. In addition there is a very specific business plan with goals to increase a schools' income by close to $90,000 a year enrolling four students a month. Now, not everyone is ready to add MMA to their school so we thought let’s do the same with COMBAT Fitness and Jujitsu. We will be introducing these programs in a webinar early September but I’ve got to tell you that the team we created for this will make adding these programs easy and extremely profitable for you.
Would you just love to have an authentic BJJ instructor added to your staff? We are working on that too.
We have committed to making more contacts with UP clients by phone. The UP website is great and there is an amazing amount of material on the site. However, United Professionals has always been about that connection and you are going to start hearing from us a lot more. I understand you are busy we just want to make sure you are productive and I think that is a matter of picking up the phone and exchanging ideas.
Yours truly is on the Drills For Skills for the second month in a row. These 15 minute videos are a combination of Drills for Skills and a mini Instructor College. See month three - Intensity.
United Professionals has formed an alliance with www.GurlFytrz.com This is a non profit organization that helps women in distress and those facing domestic violence. This alliance will provide you with help getting seminars, marketing ideas, workshops and a product line. How to become involved and how you can help the cause will be detailed in an upcoming presentation. By assisting and becoming part of this non profit affiliation you have the opportunity to make a difference as well and the added benefits of massive publicity.
It’s been a very busy and productive couple of months in UP land. Each of these programs will be presented to you in detail this month. I look forward to seeing you at an event this year. As an added value for clients, all events are free for the remainder of 2009 with exception of the WKKA camp in November. This is a WKKA event that we will be speaking at and providing and instructor college however the event is sponsored by the WKKA. I just heard that THE FIGHT ASYLUM run by a former UP board member will be sponsoring an MMA fight that weekend in the event hotel. See the schedule of events for details. You gotta be there!

Hi Fellow UP members worldwide
As you may or may not know, some years ago, I wrote a book on how to make sure you are, never bullied in the future, and what to do right now if you already are.
To date I have sold just over 760 copies of this book in print (on paper). The reason I am telling you this is that I have just put an ebook version up for sale. The web address is www.neverbebullied.co.uk and purchasing info is at the bottom of the home page.
Bullying is something that affects most people's lives at some time, either directly or indirectly. I feel that the book's biggest benefit is that it provides information that will allow people who may never have been bullied, to identify the very first stages of a bullying attempt. This way, definite action can be taken to ensure that the person does not end up as a victim. Its much better to be educated in advance and avoid an unpleasant situation, than to find yourself IN an unpleasant situation that you have to get yourself out of.
There is also an action plan at the back of the book to provide a step by step method of changing a situation that you are not enjoying.

In the first month we went from literally being last to first or second on Google's generic search for martial arts, mma, and karate, in our area. I have had a website with Renee for several months now. I have had tons of leads call in on a weekly basis from this site. Over the last couple of months I have people calling in every week for Birthday parties. In fact I received another Birthday party request from the website today. I do no advertising for the birthday parties other than the website, and I have been hosting Birthday parties almost every Saturday. Renee does an outstanding job. The proof is in the results. I have had my site since Aug 2008 and it has been getting hits every month.
I had a previous site for a year and it did not get a single hit in the whole year and it was built and run by a well known organization and the investment was a whole lot more.

Hello Mr. Silva,
I wanted to touch base with you, and let you know how things are going. September is usually our most productive month, and this one is no exception. So far, we have 17 new students enrolled, and the hits just keep on coming. Just this afternoon, as I was about to start teaching, two parents called, within 4 minutes of each other, to inquire as to whether they could bring in their 4 yr. olds for introductory classes today. Both of these parents had found out about us from our website today. We signed two new students today, from the website. In the past 3-4 weeks, 75-80% of our prospects first viewed our website, before calling us.
More people than ever before are interested in booking Birthday parties with us, after viewing the information presented on the site. The response we're getting is unbelievable!

Success Stories to Share
Mr. Reis,
This is long overdue. I want to first start by saying what a wonderful experience I have had working with you and the Corner Man team. My story begins like this. We had built a 200 student base and with some ill advised decisions started seeing it decline over a couple of years down to 115 students. I am proud to say that since working with you and Cornerman we have built it back up to over 215 members and keeping them. That’s 100 extra members in a year! Our contract amount plummeted down to 125k but now it’s back around 270k and climbing. Our income had dropped considerably and with our backs up against the cage we managed to raise our income by 40%. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t want 40% more income! What is amazing is that all this has happened without adding much more than our East West MMA affiliate program and just doing what you, Mr. Storm and Master Silva told me to do.
There is a local gym in our area and have now landed a gig that allows us to completely blow the door off the competition. I hired a 2nd degree Jiu-Jitsu instructor with “fight experience” to teach the BJJ classes and all the other comes from myself and my staff. This is a great way for them to add a little extra income in their pocket. This doesn’t just mean more tuition monthly but more retail sales, referrals, etc. We see our program growing to over 300 students by the end of next year with a monthly gross goal of $55,000!
I could go on and on but Mr. Reis, thank you again for everything y ou’ve done for me and my team. You have truly done more for me than you know. For anyone that is hesitant about the Cornerman program let me just say…I could have stayed at 115 students, struggled with the bills, made poor decisions without consulting others and gone out of business and blamed it on the economy but I didn’t. I encourage everyone to re-think what you are doing if you are not doing well and get on board. I still have work to do but I’m well on my way.
