What is United Professionals?
United Professionals began in 1990. Greg Silva created the company to help schools in the Martial Arts industry by “uniting” consulting, tuition billing, marketing experts, graphic designers, instructors and top school owners. The goal was to provide all the resources school needed to be successful. In 2014 our mission is the same although our company has evolved into more success coaching and mentoring. As technology has evolved the ways school and individuals gain information and education has changed.
What is Cornerman Coaching?
The Cornerman division of United Professionals was developed in 2008. We felt a time came in the industry where information was plentiful however school owners still wanted to expand and grow yet many were at a plateau or even in a downslide with the change in the economy. What was needed was personal coaching. No different in the business or the sports world. The top athletes get there and continue to grow because they have a coach in their corner. This coach knows the game but more importantly knows the athlete and how that athlete thinks. Coaching needs to be one on one to be most effective. To do this we once again “United Professionals” and very successful school owners. We then chose our coaches based not only on their success but their ability to motivate and inspire others. We provide different levels of coaching depending on the needs and urgency of our clients.
Who is Greg Silva?
Greg Silva is a martial arts lifer and icon of the industry. In short he is a college business graduate, school owner since 1973, trained many top martial arts champions, coached most of the leaders in the business industry at one time or another, had a school with 1300 students, a chain of 5 schools, bought and sold several schools, is a speaker, a promoter, an author, developed one of the first rotating curriculum, a children’s curriculum and is the real deal and student of the late Ed Parker.
