United Professionals has combined marketing with the life skills lessons. The sheets are now four pages again, now with a special ADULTS section on the back. Parents are overloaded with homework and our goal is to get the kids to be responsible for their own Black Belt Excellence sheets. The stories are written for kids to easily understand them. The newsletters are on the level so that kids can ...be successful on their own. Of course I highly recommend the instructors explain the sheets and what is expected when they are handed out. This is your time to show your entire student body as well your parents the mission you are on with your martial arts lessons.
Instead of putting a stripe on their belt I am suggesting a Wristband. Now each month your students are getting a new bracelet with the Life Lesson of the month to show off to their friends. This is a great way for you to show exactly how your school is teaching life skills. You have the newsletters and you have the reward. Now to complete this we are going to provide VIP cards each month to go along with the lesson as a marketing product. This way in January you are teaching about GOALS so you have a wristband kids are going to receive that reads "GOALS". You then have a VIP Guest Pass that reads - "Kids Learn Goals [at your school name]". With the VIP Card, you simply approach a would-be prospect and say "Hi, my name is Greg Silva. I have the martial arts school down the street, East West Karate. This month we are teaching the life skill of Goal Setting and I'd like to give you a free pass for your children." LISTEN, and if the prospect shows interest you then make a trial appointment. During the intro class give the child a worksheet and tell them to bring it in the next class and you will award them a GOAL bracelet. Each month the newsletter and goals change giving you additional reasons to reach out to your prospect list. http://getstudents.com/collections/black-belt-excellence-system Comments are closed.
